Wetness A Day Before Period

19 - ROTTING CHRIST "AEáL"

ROTTING CHRIST (combo native Athens, Greece, formed in 1987) we are accustomed to works fantastic and a lot downloading historical nuances when playing. After much wait since their previous work, during 2010 we surprises with this new full length called "AEáL" . Recall that the band got a lot of impact and rebirth, so to speak-with "Theogony" , published in 2007.

First, we begin to discover why "AEáL" ? Sakis

(frontman and vocal) acknowledges this new vision of the group, consisting of looking to the roots of the ancient Greek tradition, which translates into a large burden of indigenous musical elements. This album features a unique contribution, the Traditional Choir Pliades originating in Ipiros, which mainly focuses to sing at funerals. He himself has lent his art to introduce "AEáL" ancestral air on the theme of the disc: the feelings of the warrior in the battle. "AEáL" is the Latin alphabet transcription of an ancient Greek word meaning catastrophe, destruction or devastation. And this record is all that noise.

is notably the band's growth musically and compositionally, this "AEáL" is continuing and a saga that began with "Theogony" , always in vision warrior and sounds when you say "personally", eyes closed, transported to that world war. Sakis

singer is undoubtedly a very complete, due to his diverse vocal range that few musicians possess the scene. ROTTING CHRIST actually has a plus that stands as a great training to have in their ranks Sakis . Also noteworthy is the work of Giorgos guitar, these Greeks always characterized by the sound of six strings, so distinctive to them.

As mentioned above, this CD helped the Pliades Choir, but also included a special participation: I'm talking about a lady with a unique voice and that more than one would fly head in his notes: Mrs. Diamanda Galas , adding his voice on the last track "Orders From the Dead"; is actually a cover of itself, made by ROTTING CHRIST and counting their collaboration.

Here we leave the tracklist of this great work:
01.
AEáL 02. Aena
Eon 03. Vrosis Demonon
04. Noctis was
05. Dub-sag-ta-ke
06. Fire Death and Fear
07. Nekron Iahes ...
08. Pir ... Threontai
09. Thou Art Lord
10. Santa Muerte
11. Orders From the Dead

ROTTING CHRIST gives us this very good work, we recommend without hesitation, and of which I certify that this is one of the best plates appeared in 2010.

18 - Within Temptation "The Heart of Everything"

"The Heart of Everything" is the fourth studio album of which is probably today the most important band of the international Gothic Metal, natives of Waddinxveen, Netherlands, WITHIN TEMPTATION.
The training was responsible for this compendium of impeccable songs consisted of Sharon Den Adel on vocals (Except singer, described as a mezzo soprano, charismatic frontwoman), Robert Westerholt and Ruud Jolie on guitar, Jeroen Van Veen on bass, Martijn Spierenburg on keyboards and Stephen Van Haestregt on drums.

The album, released during the first half of 2007, is so far the last studio of the band, while awaiting the start of the new record, "The unforgiving" , to within a few weeks. The publisher was the American Roadrunner Records, usually devoted to groups of more extreme or aggressive tint. WITHIN TEMPTATION , however, has a distinctive European sound, but with a slight whiff Americanized in some of his compositions, which was not present in their first CDs.

To be faithful to the truth, this record is a parade of hits, one song after another. The first half of the album is simply unstoppable, and from the two initial tracks, "The Howling" (terrific example of how to conceive a great song) or the equally bombastic "What Have You Done" , probably the spearhead of this terrible record, a sensational topic that includes the tiny guest Keith Caputo, lead singer of Life of Agony (had something to do with the record in this detail?), an excellent counterpoint vocals with Sharon Den Adel .

Then, the disc still sound wonderful countryside passing by, somewhat calmer in the beautiful ballad "Frozen" , before rising again with the ultra radiable "Our Solemn Hour" where we can listen a catchy chorus to a fault. The first half of the plate comes at a good port with the song that gives title to it, followed by "Hand of Sorrow" different composition easily identifiable, very high level.

In the second half, may decline a little hypothetical "meter hits" but never falls quality of songs, which determines as a result this album simply unforgettable. "The Cross" is-certainly-one of the best tracks, not only of this album, but the entire race WITHIN TEMPTATION. In it we can appreciate the versatility and Sharon Den Adel without doubt one of the best singers in the world.

"Final Destination" down a step, but not because it is magnificent, is that his predecessor "The Cross" is superlative. "All I Need" is in our opinion the weakest point of the CD, but it is clear that the same is an issue that could be cut for any band dissemination of style, which, except Nightwish - consider all well below these Dutch.
Registration is closing with the last two songs: "The Truth Beneath the Rose" , the longest in duration, where emotions rise again after the previous "All I Need" , and the final "Forgiven" , a beautiful ballad where again the vocal cords of Sharon shine in full.

To summarize, we can say which, to our taste- "The Heart of Everything" is one of the greatest albums of the decade ended, one of those superlatives and monumental works that have no waste, which has no filler tracks, and which is very difficult to remove from the compactera. It's like a Greatest Hits , but no: in fact it is a board study of a band that squeezed the end of their enormous creativity, his innate songwriting talent and his remarkable ability to create the best songs in style.

In our humble opinion, "The Heart of Everything" deserves a ten in all aspects.

Manifesto for a neutral network

(If you feel comfortable and represented by this text, give all you can and want to broadcast: watch it, link it, translate it, share it, vote ... All those things you can do with confidence and freedom thanks precisely to the fact that we still have a neutral network. Let us make it possible to continue holding it)
Citizens and businesses using the Internet attached to this text DECLARE:
  1. That Internet is a network design Neutral , from its inception to its current implementation, in which Information flows freely, without discrimination based on origin, destination, protocol, or content.
  2. For businesses, entrepreneurs and Internet users have been able to create services and products in the Neutral Red without authorization or prior agreements, resulting in a virtually non-existent barrier to entry has allowed the explosion of creativity, innovation and service which defines the current network status.
  3. All users, entrepreneurs and Internet companies have been able to define and offer their services on an equal footing taking the concept of competition to an extent previously unknown. That
  4. Internet is the vehicle free expression, free information and most important social development which have citizens and businesses. His nature must not be jeopardized in any way.
  5. That to enable the Neutral Network operators must carry packets of data in a neutral manner without being a "customs" of traffic and no advantage or disadvantage to some content over others.
  6. That the traffic management in specific situations and exceptional network overload should be undertaken in a transparent manner according to standard criteria of public interest and non-discriminatory and non-commercial. That this restriction
  7. exceptional by traffic operators can not become a sustainable alternative to network investment.
  8. That the Neutral Red is threatened by operators interested in reaching commercial agreements which favors or degrade the content according to their relationship with the operator.
  9. That some market participants want to "re-define" Neutral Network to be handled in accordance with their interests, and that claim must be avoided, the definition of the fundamental rules of operation of the Internet should be based on the interest of those who use not of those who provide them.
  10. That the response to this threat to the network will not be inaction: doing nothing amounts to allowing private interests to conduct de facto practices affecting citizens' fundamental freedoms and the ability of firms to compete on equal terms.
  11. That is an urgent need to urge the Government to protect a clear and unambiguous Neutral Network, in order to protect the value of Internet towards developing a more productive, modern, efficient and free of interference and interferences . This requires that any motion to approve inextricably linking the definition of Neutral Red in the content of future legislation that promotes and does not condition its application to issues that have little to do with it.
Neutral Network is a clearly defined concept in academia, where it stirs debate: citizens and businesses have the right to traffic received or generated data is not manipulated, distorted, impeded, diverted, prioritized or delayed depending on the type of content, protocol or application used, the origin or destination of the communication or any other circumstances unrelated to their will. That traffic is treated as a private communication and only under court order may be monitored, traced, stored or analyzed in its content, such as private correspondence that is actually .
Europe and Spain in particular, are in the midst of an economic crisis so important to force radical change in its production model, and better use of the creativity of its citizens. Neutral Network is crucial to preserve an ecosystem that encourages competition and innovation for the creation of numerous products and services that are to invent and discover. The ability to network, so collaborative, and connected markets, will affect all sectors and all companies in our country, making the Internet a key factor in our current and future economic and social development, determining great extent the level of competitiveness the country. Hence our deep concern for the preservation of the Neutral Network. We therefore urge the English Government urgently to be proactive in the European context and to legislate in a clear and unambiguous in this regard.
